You either think I’m crazy or that I have way too much free time. But I really do read a new book every. Single. Day. And I love it. I used to be that person who always wanted to read more, but I just couldn’t sit and flip through stories to the end without getting distracted. So, how do I do it now? I use Headway.
It’s a book summary app that helps non-readers, or busy people, read more without actually cracking open books. Confused? Don’t be—Headway turns full-length works into 15-minute text or audio summaries, so you get the best parts in less time. I got lifetime access for only $44.99 using code HEADWAY (a $299.95 value!). I couldn’t find a better deal anywhere else.
How I read 365 books in a year
It used to take me about five hours to read a book (don’t judge me, I was a slow reader), and now it takes me around 15 minutes. Sure, I’m not getting every detail and sentence, but I’m getting the book’s highlights and main ideas, which is what I want from self-help and wellness reads anyway.
Headway also helps me pick what to read, which was another huge roadblock for me previously. I’d get hung up on a really good book and never know where to move next, but I get recommendations from Headway based on my past choices and the goals I’ve set. I also just love searching through their 1,500+ book summaries to see what’s there.
Some of my recent favorite reads
I’m not kidding—I go through (at least) one Headway summary every day, so I know the best summaries on the app. It’s a good thing they add around 50 new summaries every month, or I’d have run out by now. Here’s what you’re missing out on:
- Habit Stacking: 127 small changes to improve your health, wealth, and happiness
- The Alchemist: A fable about following your dream
- I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
- Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled
Join me in reading a new book every day with this Headway lifetime deal. Use code HEADWAY at checkout to get it for $44.99 (reg. $299.95) through Sunday, Sept. 29 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
