340,352. That's how many coats the annual KOATS FOR KIDS drive has collected over the last 36 years.

Together, WISC-TV3, the Community Action Coalition, Magic 98 and The Hope Center are working with Klinke Cleaners to collect unneeded winter coats, scarves, hats, gloves + mittens from the community. These donations provide much-needed warmth and comfort for underprivileged children and adults in Dane and Waukesha Counties.

In exchange for supporting the community, Klinke Cleaners offers dry cleaning coupons for coats donated during the event. Plus, the feeling of knowing you've supported someone right here in southern Wisconsin.

Here's what to know:

The 37th annual event ends this Fri., Oct. 7.
Madisonians can drop off donations at any area Klinke Cleaners location — full list here.
Don't have any old gear? No worries, you can still get involved by donating items off of the KOATS FOR KIDS Amazon Wish List.
