Hats off to you grads. Whether you’re wearing Cardinal and White all weekend long or plan to celebrate quietly, we’ve got an itinerary for all Badgers. Just don’t ask us to help you with dinner plans.

But first, the deets

🎓 Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Law Degree candidates will graduate on Sat., May 14 at 12 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium. Be sure to pack the sunscreen.
🎓 Doctoral, MFA, and Medical Professional Degree candidates will graduate on Fri., May 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kohl Center.

If you’re looking to live it up all weekend long

🎓 UW-Madison is providing a complimentary shuttle to commencement at Camp Randall. Families + attendees can scope out the best route for getting to graduation on time.
🎓 Make sure to grab those final photos with Honest Abe (rub his foot if you haven’t already), under the Camp Randall arch, and with Bucky Badger.
🎓 Grab some ice cream from the Daily Scoop or a pitcher of Spotted Cow + reminisce at the Terrace over all your college debauchery. Bonus points if you can scheme a way to take a chair. Legally, we’re not responsible for that.
🎓 Eat one last meal at Mickie’s Dairy Bar or take a shot at Whiskey Jack’s.

If you’d like to stay out of the action

🎓 Monroe Street, Regent Street, and Park Street promise to be extremely busy this weekend. We’d recommend taking John Nolen Drive or looping up around the Capitol before venturing down University Avenue.
🎓 Explore a new-to-you neighborhood in Madison. We’ve got guides for Atwood, Willy, and Monroe.
🎓 This weekend might be the time to try a new recipe at home since most reservations are gone. Consider picking up Wisconsin-grown goodness from the farmers’ market + exploring seasonal recipes from edible Madison.
🎓 Completely get off the Isthmus + head up for a day adventure at Devil’s Lake State Park or Gibraltar Rock in Lodi.
