Now that we adults have our plans and costumes in place, let's review this year's trick-or-treating hours in and around Madison.

Sunday, Oct. 29

Tuesday, Oct. 31

Make sure your Halloween is full of treats, not tricks.

Drive slow, the streets will be filled with little ones hyped up on sugar
Incorporate reflective gear or light-up accessories into your kids' costumes
Map out a route ahead of time with kids who are going without a guardian
Homemade treats are great, but it's better to be safe than sorry, stick to prepackaged store-bought goodies
