This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for (part two)... We asked RICtoday readers to submit photos of their beloved pets, and you all did not disappoint. After sorting through nearly 100 photos of Richmond-resident dogs and cats, we decided to divide the spotlight to double the celebration.

See our adorable roundup of RVA's ruling + drooling canines. This one's for the cats.

Put your paws up for...

"Olive and Opal… and some books" | Photo provided by RICtoday reader, Christopher C.

Lola and Lulu | "I just adopted these two in November, so their personalities are changing as we get accustomed to each other."

Tyson + Nugget | "My brother is my best napping pal."

Pearl | "She has one good eye, and she thinks she’s a seal. She loves hammocks and worms on a string."

Raz | "He is 18 years old and learning to live with a newborn at home. He is very friendly and loves to cuddle."

Juliet + Hopper | "Hopper is a snuggly love-bug who loves his treats. Juliet is a sweetie who loves being pet and hiding from Hopper."

Sally + Hubble | "#nasakitten littermates and air-prey extraordinaires!"

Jack | "Jack says 'hello' and 'yeah,' and uses them in context. She’s a smart kitty!"

Kodak (Editor Elise's cat) | "Kodak is diabetic and loves getting his Insulin shots that make him feel better. He's also invaluable while playing Scrabble."

If you made it this far, you’re clearly an animal lover — and we love that for you.

Didn’t see your pet featured this time around? We received dozens of picture-perfect submissions, but unfortunately, we couldn’t fit them all in this week's roundup. Keep an eye on our Instagram and future newsletters, where we’ll periodically post more spotlights.
