Deck the halls with boughs of shotskis at San Antonio’s newest holiday pop-up bar — Snowbound. This limited-time event is happening now at Chicken N’ Pickle and we can’t wait to get our snow-booze on.

Here's what you need to know before stopping by:

The space is decked out with retro holiday adornment, string lights galore + an Insta-worthy gondola to (snow) boot.
There’s plenty of cozy cocktails + festive eats selections — see the full menu here.
Reservations for “ski passes” must be made in advance and can be done online.
Anyone 21+ will be able to attend this ski-lodge themed pop-up.

Snowbound is now accepting reservations through Fri., Dec. 17 with many dates already sold-out. Don’t fret — the bar is continually posting new dates on its website.

Looking for something a bit closer to home? We have three more places to spread holiday cheers.

Thirsty Aztec

Merry margaritas — You might remember this downtown gem from our bar crawl list. This stop is a must do if you’re looking to catch the River Walk Holiday Lights or simply want to sip + stroll.

Mean Green Brunch

If nightlife is not really your scene, head on over to the San Antonio Botanical Garden for a family-friendly brunch hosted by the mean one himself on Sun., Dec. 12. Tickets include access to the grounds + a cash bar will be available — we’ll take a mimosa with extra champ-pine.

The Rustic

Head on over to this outdoor venue with a western flair for its annual Shane Smith & the Saints Ugly Christmas Sweater Party on Fri., Dec. 17. Bring your friends over for a night of great music and even greater rein-beer games. Close the night out with an Ugly Sweater Christmas contest — reservations are now available to book.

It’s the holidays, treat your elf to any of these brew-licious options. Cheers, San Antonio.
