Knock knock. Who’s there? It’s FTWtoday.

Okay, we may not have the funniest jokes around, but we know who does. We’ve rounded up three local comedy clubs. Whether you’re ready to chuckle at a planned joke or be surprised by an improvised remark, these venues will make you laugh until your sides hurt.

Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub, 425 Commerce St.
Full of “cheap drinks and rich laughs,” Hyena’s features rotating comedians daily + free shows every Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

Four Day Weekend, 820 Jarvis St.
In a “Whose Line Is it Anyway?” meets ”Saturday Night Live” masterpiece, Four Day Weekend features an audience-participation improv show every Friday + Saturday night at Stage West Theatre. Purchase tickets online or sign up for a free class.

Big Laugh Comedy Club, 604 Main St., Ste.100
From open mic night on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. to Whiskey & Laugh Wednesdays at 8 p.m. and all the hilarious stand-up acts in between, grab tickets online or look into hosting a private event. While there, check out NADC Burgers — an Austin-based burger chain specializing in wagyu beef — that opened inside the club on January 31.
