If you're looking for a way to kick off your Labor Day weekend — or just start the weekend early with a little post-work happy hour — we've got you covered.

Once a collection of mid-century industrial buildings between West Seventh Street and the Trinity River's West Fork, The Foundry District is a new hot spot for artists creating everything from colorful murals to hand-crafted cocktails.

Check out these eight laid-back bars and restaurants for a relaxing evening in the Foundry. Remember to enjoy responsibly, get home safe, and toast (and tag) @FTWtoday for tipping you off to your new favorite spot.
