Dust off your boots because the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (FWSSR) is here. From Friday, Jan. 16 to Saturday, Feb. 7, the city will be jam-packed with rodeo events, live music, and delicious food.

Here’s a numerical snapshot of the 131st annual event and what’s new this year.

3,000 horses

An estimated 3,000 horses are expected to march downtown in the world’s largest All-Western Parade on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. The parade will pay tribute to Texas law enforcement agencies and feature stagecoaches, the TCU marching band, and the Fort Worth Police Department’s mounted unit.

Reserved seating options are available in Sundance Square for $25 or at the Convention Center for $15. Tickets will be held at the Dickies Arena Box Office.

Take a break from the show and play your favorite carnival games outside at the fairgrounds. There’s plenty of family-friendly entertainment, including cattle and livestock shows, petting zoos, Midway rides, shopping, and classic carnival food. A rodeo ticket includes day-of fairground access.

One giant Reliant Big Boot

Since 2019, Reliant Energy has sponsored the FWSSR, and there's a giant cowboy boot to prove it. Visitors can document their time at the rodeo with a picture by the 25-ft-tall Reliant Big Boot located on the Simmons Bank Plaza at Dickies Arena.
