NASH team member Emily Herron here. I moved to Middle Tennessee over a year ago and one of my biggest stressors is finding doctors I trust for my family. New patient waitlists can be 4+ months long and what happens when you finally meet them and they don’t quite fit? (Why isn’t “speed dating” for doctors a thing?)

So when the opportunity came about to get an inside look at Brentwood Dental Arts, I was quick to jump on the opportunity.

Here's what I discovered:

✅ Making the appointment

Not only does Dr. Ian Mort have timely appointments available for new patients, the private practice also leaves space for other dental services and emergencies, current patient or not.

✅ A dentist that feels like family

From the x-rays to the teeth cleaning and examination, my hygienist Nettie and Dr. Mort spent time getting to know me + answering my questions — they block out 1.5 hours for all new patient exams, just in case. For those nervous about dental work, the team does a great job keeping you at ease.

✅ Easy to get to

While I live in Franklin, the location of this Brentwood private practice was a quick and beautiful drive through some of Middle Tennessee’s most coveted neighborhoods no matter which direction you’re coming from.

Pro tip: When you get there, you can park in the front or back lot. Take the elevator up to the second floor where their suite is.

✅ New Year, new dentist

I can officially cross “dentist” off my list of needs for my family this year. Dr. Ian Mort is accepting new patients, young and old, right now. They also accept most dental insurances and have in-house plans for those without.
