For the wine-lovers

🍷 Pick up a charcuterie board from Anzie Blue and pack some juice boxes for the kiddos before heading to Arrington Vineyards (6211 Patton Rd., ~25 minutes south of downtown Nashville). Kix Brooks’ winery offers bottles of wine and Frozen rosé for purchase. Bring your favorite board games and an old quilt + enjoy a perfect outdoor space while the little ones kids run their energy out. ProTip: You can listen to live bluegrass or jazz on the weekends.

For the thrill-seekers

🧗 See which family member can make it to the top first — Climb has locations in East and West Nashville, Murfreesboro + Bentonville. The instructors provide detailed instructions to make the process easy for newbies and there are multiple levels of climbing walls to challenge even the most seasoned go-getters. ProTip: You can check the gyms’ current occupancy via the Climb website.

For the crafty types

🎨 Painted Paw Studio classes teach you — step by step — how to capture your beloved pets in paint. Not only is this a fun way to spend an evening but you’ll also be able to display your artwork and remember the time your family spent together. Browse pop-up locations on the website.

For the ones who love cultural experiences

✈️ Plaza Mariachi is one of the most unique spots in Nashville offering international dining options and live entertainment — plus, Tito’s Playroom hosts kid-friendly and community events throughout the year.

For anyone who enjoys a throwback

🎳 Challenge your family to a friendly bowling competition + see who can get the highest score. Reserve a lane at King’s Dining and Entertainment at the Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin (~25 minutes from downtown Nashville), where you’ll also find a family-friendly food menu. TryThis: Buffalo chicken wontons + crispy apple spring rolls.
