Nashville Public Library’s all-ages Summer Reading Challenge returns today and runs through Friday, July 31.

Here's the gist

Register on the Beanstack app. Prefer pen and paper? You can also pick up a reading log at any library branch.
Log 15 days of reading or complete 15 bookish activities to earn vouchers from local businesses.
No library card? No problem. Anyone can participate.

Early registrants may be able to score a limited-edition Nashville SC library card while supplies last, and all participants will receive a reusable bag for carrying around summer reads.

Need ideas? Treat your shelf to one of these books written by authors with Nashville ties, and check out this summer’s most-anticipated releases, according to Goodreads. Psst — the list includes "Whistler," the latest novel from Parnassus Books owner Ann Patchett.
