Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum are getting ready for visitors this month. The hotel will welcome the first guests on Monday, Sept. 14 as part of a soft opening, while the museum opens Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The hotel

SongTeller has 245 rooms and suites, including the 1,865-sqft SongTeller Suite, which spans two stories.

The museum

The museum spans ~20,000+ sqft and is located on the hotel’s third floor, with 20 sections exploring Parton’s life. Look for a recreation of her childhood home, a tour bus, a virtual concert hall, and exhibits on her acting career, Dollywood, and philanthropy.

The music

The hotel’s music venues — Parton’s Live and Jolene’s — will get an early start, too. Here’s a peek at the Parton’s Live calendar:

Sept. 16: Richie Owens (Parton's cousin)
Sept. 21: Jake Hoot
Sept. 25: Liz Longley
Oct. 4: Taylor Hicks
Oct. 20: FEMcountry Showcase Series
