Hotel staff will host an official grand opening of The Countrypolitan on Friday, Nov. 18, showcasing the brand's redesign across the restaurant, bar, lobby + meeting and events space.

The Printer's Alley hotel — 301 Union St. — now sports decor and artwork curated by design company Studio 11, and inspired by the 70s "Countrypolitan" music era. The idea, according to general manager Bill Bacelieri, is that you feel as though you're stepping directly into the living room of legendary greats like Patsy Cline.

Sips + bites

The restaurant serves full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, along with specialty cocktails playing into a musical theme. Here's what the NASHtoday team would order:

Breakfast

Ham and Cheese Omelet — a three egg omelet stuffed with smoked ham and cheddar cheese, breakfast potatoes, and served with white or wheat toast

Lunch

The Butter Burger — half pound choice beef, cheddar cheese, bacon, come back sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion (plus, the 5-layer chocolate cake to go)

Dinner

Smoked Brisket Pot Stickers for the table, followed by Southern Fried Chicken as a main — half chicken, butter-whipped potatoes, carrots, and pepper jelly.

Bonus pick: The "I Walk The Line" cocktail — Countrypolitan's take on a spicy margarita, made with Milagro Reposado, Ancho Reyes, mango, and Hellfire bitters

Additional features

Out of town guests and locals alike can listen to live music weekly (see that calendar here) + shop the vintage retail store curated by local country artist Nikki Lane.
