Good morning, NOOGA. Intern Brianna here (two days in a row 🤩), and my dad is definitely one of the coolest out there (in high school, he climbed on top of the gym bleachers during our father-daughter dance to show off his moves).🕺

Having the coolest dad means getting him the coolest gift for Father’s Day, and that’s where I run into some trouble. So, I created this local Father’s Day Gift Guide to help people like me who need a little inspiration when shopping for their rad dad. 🤙

For the dad who always “wants nothing”

Locals Only’s #1 Dad Gift Box for the #1 Dad in your life. | Locals Only

Always the hardest ones to shop for, these dads claim that all they want from you on Father’s Day is a hug. If you don’t know of anything that they want, though, you could always go for a little bit of everything with a Father’s Day gift box from Locals Only or MoonPie General Store. Try Locals Only’s #1 Dad Gift Box filled with Hoff Sauce, a Chattanooga whiskey glass, and Soberdough brew bread, or MoonPie General Store’s “Dude Box” with BBQ rub, Vermont beer bread, and steakhouse burger seasoning.

For the stressed-out dad

Calm + relaxation is one of the best gifts to receive, in our opinion. | @peacestrengthyoga

With everything that’s been going on the past few months, we’d be surprised if there is a dad out there who isn’t a little stressed + overwhelmed. Give dad a gift he (and quite honestly, all of us) could really use with an online Introduction to Mindfulness class taught by Mike Goins from the Center for Mindful Living or a virtual Community Class from Peace.Strength.Yoga in St. Elmo.

For the sports lover

“Lookout” (wink, wink) for one great Father’s Day Gift. | Chattanooga Lookouts

For the dads who are really missing watching sports right now, get them something to keep their team pride strong. This Chattanooga Lookouts Father’s Day Package includes a t-shirt, coozie, cap, and clear stadium bag, or you could go for a Chattanooga Football Club player/schedule card set. (Bonus: 100% of the card set sales will go to the Red Cross of Southeast Tennessee to help those affected by recent tornadoes).

For the adventuring dad

We admit that the TN River isn’t quite this pretty, but it is just as fun to paddle board in. | @l2_outside_

For the dad who loves adventuring + getting outside, try getting them the gift of a fun experience. L2’s stand up paddle board rental is perfect for the summer weather, and you can get in on the fun, too, with this tandem kayak rental. If your dad is really up for something new, check out Adventure Sports Innovation’s Waterbike rentals or Swincar experiences.

For the dad with a sweet tooth

Hopefully, this is a gift that dad will share. | @noogarons

Noogarons — a local handcrafted macaroon business — teamed up with other local brands like Hoff Sauce, Chattanooga Whiskey + Main Street Meats to create special Father’s Day macaroons. You can preorder the dark chocolate chili, maple bacon, and bourbon cherry macaroons by messaging them on Instagram or Facebook.
