3% raise for city employees (including first responders)
Safety + public works make up 59% of the budget

What increased

$4.24 million increase for fire (the largest increase of any department)

$750,000 increase for CARTA

What decreased

$3.1 million decrease for police (still the largest-funded department)
$1.15 million decrease for Parks and Outdoors
$9.3 million decrease for agencies + quasi-agencies

Here’s the full operating budget. The mayor also proposed a capital budget with more long-term investments, such as paving and replacing the Wilcox Bridge.
