Calling all Chattanoogans. The median age in Chattanooga is right at 37.6 years old, but we have a huge amount of folks over 60 — hellooo, perfect place to retire. In fact, according to a report from Census Reporter, 17% of residents are senior citizens.

We’ve received several emails with questions like, “I’m over 60 — where can I meet people my age + where can I find activities for people my age?”

We want your input —

Head to the question below to get started.
There are 6 categories to choose from. Enter your favorite local spots for as many or as few of the categories you want.
Note: Make sure you’re choosing your absolute favorite option, because you can only give 1 nomination per category. (We don’t make the rules here — the platform does.)
For your first nomination, enter your first name + last initial, your email address, and verify you’re not a robot.
After that, simply enter the name of your nominee’s business or activity in Chattanooga, and click “Nominate.”
For example, under Active > Your Nomination, we could say “Yoga at The Chattery.” Then you can brag about this person or biz in the “Why do you think they are the best?” section. You can include links to their website pages, Facebook groups, and social media, too.

So, which senior activities would you recommend? Let us know.
