In just 24 hours, 100+ local artists created original works for Flat Out Under Pressure (FOUP), a one-of-a-kind juried competition blending the visual arts and environmentally-friendly practices.

The eight winners, announced during last weekend's reception and awards ceremony at the Metropolitan Arts Council, earned cash prizes and the opportunity to display their work on downtown recycling bins. Psst... The new art will be installed by March 2026.
