We recently visited Greenville Technical College’s Barton Campus to explore the new Prisma Health Center for Health & Life Sciences Building.

One of the coolest things we saw? The Anatomage table in their Anatomage lab — a cutting-edge tool that’s changing the way students learn about the human body.

This life-sized, interactive touchscreen lets you explore detailed 3D models of the human body. The models were created from real bodies donated for research — so it’s as close to the real thing as you can get.

Students can study skin, muscles, bones, and organs without the need for physical specimens. The table also allows them to simulate surgical procedures (think: live births) and enhance their understanding of medical conditions in a safe, hands-on way.

Psst... If you're considering a career in healthcare, tour the campus and see it for yourself. Trust us, it's pretty eye-opening.
