Good morning, Greenville – Grace here. Being the type of person who loves to book a flight for a last minute getaway, I’ve learned some travel tips along the way. Lucky for us, we have an airport just under 30 minutes from downtown – Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) – which is near Greer, located midway between Greenville + Spartanburg. In my experience – I’ve found the best way to look for flights out of GSP is through a quick “Google Flights” search. Here’s how it works:

Google “flights from GSP” and select “flights” from the option tabs at the top of the screen.
Select the number of passengers, dates, etc.
If you’re feeling spontaneous – leave the destination blank and Google will do the rest.

Through my quick, two-minute search, I found six flights that would make for the perfect Christmas getaway (Sat., Dec. 21-Wed., Dec. 25). (I also strived to find flights with prices that were budget-friendly – a.k.a. under $350.)

New York | $255 | United Airlines
Miami | $344 | American Airlines
New Orleans | $332 | American Airlines
Chicago | $328 | American Airlines
Nashville | $242 | American Airlines
Cleveland | $300 | American Airlines

Disclaimer: Google Flights search is continuously updating based on flights available. The above selection of flights were available to book as of 5 p.m. yesterday. We recommend updating your search preferences based on your travel needs, and of course checking with the airline directly regarding pricing.
