The Junior League of Greenville (JLG) is ending its 2021-2022 League year with some impressive stats. From record-breaking donations to the launch of new initiatives, the organization’s impact can be seen throughout our community.

By the numbers:

$42,359.23: That’s how much money the Little Black Dress Initiative raised in 2021. The campaign had 587 donors, which allowed JLG to increase awareness about human trafficking + helping women overcome barriers related to economic mobility.
350: The number of patients in the Cancer Society of Greenville who received Sustainer Holiday bags from JLG. “We exceeded all of our goals and were able to send amazing Holiday Bags filled with a variety of fun and thoughtful gifts,” says Lenna Blaser, JLG’s Communications VP.
154: The number of local retailers who participated in the 2022 Shop for Greenville Card initiative. Sold annually during the fundraiser, this card allows shoppers to get discounts when they shop at local businesses in and around Greenville. Bonus: JLG raised $24,000+ and saw its highest number of sponsors ever for this initiative this year.
90: The number of women who registered to attend the first in-person Empowered Women of Greenville event, which featured keynote speaker Liz Ferro, founder of nonprofit Girls with Sole.
