Here’s a stat that might surprise you: More than 42% of working families across Forsyth County are doing everything right and still struggling to keep up with the rising costs of living.

These households are considered ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed).

They earn above the federal poverty line, but often struggle to afford necessities like housing, healthcare, transportation, food, and childcare.

➡️ Enter: United Way's Forsyth Forward campaign

United Way of Forsyth County recently launched a community-wide special campaign to help address these growing challenges.

The goal? To connect local families with the support, services, and opportunities they need to achieve long-term stability and success.

After all, a single unexpected expense (such as a car repair, medical bill, or missed paycheck) can cause rippling setbacks that affect housing, employment, or a child's progress in school.
