Here in the home of the Research Triangle Park, there’s a tech solution for almost everything — apartment hunting included. Virtual tours? Helpful. AI chatbots? Great in theory. In practice? It depends.

A neighbor who becomes a friend? You can’t automate that.

Thoughtful interiors, standout amenities + smart technology all shape how you live. Still, the people you meet and experiences you share are what make a place feel like yours.

That’s the human side of renting at Hawthorne Residential Partners communities. Technology makes the process easier, while onsite teams keep it personal.

After move-in, Hawthorne Experiences keeps the introductions going through monthly events, local partnerships + volunteer opportunities. Think: restaurant outings, supporting Triangle nonprofits, and gatherings that turn the person next door into someone you actually know.

Residents say it works

At Hawthorne at Traditions in Wake Forest, one resident called the events “incredible, abundant, and really brings the community together.” Their favorite part? A team that feels both professional + “human.”

In downtown Cary, one Meridian Cary resident said moving there was “one of the best decisions” they made since relocating for work. The rooftop terrace, fitness center, art studio + resort-style pool caught their attention, while the community made it feel like home. Their favorite tradition? Walking downtown with neighbors to try a different restaurant each week.

Sometimes, that connection starts before move-in. A Hawthorne at Parkside resident shared that a team member “made it feel like home from the first time we visited.” Their latest update: “Still loving it here.”

Feedback like this helped Hawthorne earn the No. 1 online reputation score among the NMHC Top 50 Managers for four years running.

From downtown Raleigh and North Hills to Cary and Wake Forest, every corner of the Triangle has its own rhythm. Monthly events and local connections make it easier to find yours.
