Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Stevie Nicks will enchant Raleigh with her presence this Friday, May 12 at PNC Arena. To prepare for a magical performance, we’re imagining a few local spots and stories as the singer’s lyrics.

"Gypsy," Fleetwood Mac

To a room with some lace and paper flowers. | Creative workshop host Joy Worthy Co. certainly fits the bill for all things crafty and elegant.

"Rhiannon," Fleetwood Mac

Takes to the sky like a bird in flight. | Tweet tweet, guess who's back? The Painted Bunting is perched at Dix Park for the second year in a row.

"Gold Dust Woman," Fleetwood Mac

Rock on, ancient queen. |With Stevie's retro style and witchy aesthetic, we think this ancient queen would enjoy shopping at Boot & Trunk, Dancing Moon, and Father And Son Antiques.

"Dreams," Fleetwood Mac

Players only love you when they're playing. | We have all details of the Triangle’s sports teams. Plus, we hear they like to hang out at Players Retreat.

"Landslide," Fleetwood Mac

I climbed a mountain and I turned around. | Did you know that the top of Occoneechee Mountain, located ~45 minutes from downtown, is the tallest point between the Triangle and the Atlantic Ocean? Explore 20 more hiking trails near Raleigh.

"Gypsy," Fleetwood Mac

She is dancing away from me now. | We're dreaming of a whimsical night on the dance floor at The Wicked Witch.

"Edge of Seventeen," Stevie Nicks

With their words of a poet, and a voice from a choir. | Have you met this year's Piedmont Laureate Dasan Ahanu?

"Silver Springs," Fleetwood Mac

Time cast a spell on you, but you won't forget me. | Though we will soon have to say goodbye to Char-Grill's original building, the beloved burger spot will be rebuilt alongside a mixed-use 20-story building.

There are a few tickets still up for grabs for the concert on Friday, May 12.
