Brooklyn, NY-based Oula recently opened its first maternity and reproductive health clinic in the Queen City in partnership with Novant Health. The Cotswold clinic marks its first Southeast location.

"Opening our doors in Charlotte is an exciting milestone, but what matters most is what this partnership means for the women and families we serve," said Adrianne Nickerson, co-founder and CEO of Oula.

The 3,200-sqft clinic aims to bring midwives and obstetricians together to give patients more choices and continuity throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.

Through the partnership with Novant, patients will have access to coordinated gynecological, prenatal + postpartum care, along with in-person visits, telehealth services, 24/7 virtual support, and workshops. When it's time to deliver, Oula patients will give birth at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

“Every woman deserves to feel heard, supported and confident in the care she receives throughout her pregnancy and beyond,” said Dr. Lewis Lipscomb, senior vice president and physician-in-chief of Novant Health’s Women’s & Children’s Institute.
