A Thanksgiving tradition will soon step off in Uptown. Floats are getting final touches before the Novant Health Thanksgiving Parade. More than 100,000 people will gather on Tryon Street to watch floats, balloons, and live performances on the eve of Thanksgiving.

The 78th annual event is an Uptown staple. “For decades, the Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade has been a cherished tradition allowing families and neighbors to come together and enjoy a fun and festive community celebration of what makes Charlotte so remarkable,” said Saad Ehtisham, DHA, FACHE, senior vice president and president, Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center and Novant Health’s greater Charlotte market.
