Today is National Kitten Day, which makes it the purr-fect time to look at ways we can help our area felines. Locally, we’re also smack dab in the middle of kitten season, aka the time of year between April + October when shelters experience overflow due to the high volume of cat litters born. In addition to ensuring cats are spayed + neutered to reduce the amount of litters being born, you can also help local kittens by participating in adoption and foster programs.
