If you couldn't tell by walking the aisles at Target or your coworkers' constant Chicken N Pickle invites, pickleball has taken over — and PickleCon 2024 is here to fan the flames.

The inaugural fest, hosted by Triple Crown Sports, is bringing 100 courts, 130+ vendors, and 680+ participants (including pro athletes) to the Kansas City Convention Center from Thursday, Aug. 8 to Sunday, Aug. 11.

On-and-off the court

Whether you're a seasoned pickler or amateur enthusiast, there's plenty of ways to paddle up some fun.

If you're ready to hit the court, consider registering for the tournament. Once you've determined your division, choose the 4.5-hour block that works best for your schedule — no need to sacrifice off-court escapades for tourney glory.

Not competition ready? No worries. PickleCon has 13 types of camps and clinics like:

‍Advanced Attacking
Advanced Dinking Strategies
‍Intermediate Playing in the Kitchen
Veterans Pickleball Clinic

Perfect pickle playing requires a little downtime. When you're ready for a little rest, peruse 130+ vendors on the convention floor or sit down for panel discussions on topics ranging from injury prevention and inclusivity to opening your own court.

Can't miss events

PickleCon was made for all kinds of players + fans, but these special parties are best for VIPs (Very Interested Picklers):

Eatertainment Tour of KC | Choose your adventure on this KC Crew-guided tour to either Chicken N Pickle North KC + Char Bar or Chicken N Pickle Overland Park + SERV.
‍Glow in the Dark Tournament | It's exactly what it sounds like. Turn the lights down and let your skill shine in a backlit serve-to-score tournament.

Watch the region's very own pro pickleball team, the Kansas City Stingers, at clinics and events leading up to PickleCon weekend. Check out their schedule.

Where can I sign up?

Players must register for both an individual pass and their respective tournaments, while spectators can purchase a day or weekend pass. Children under 10, who are not playing in the tournament, have free admission.
