Summer humidity hits different with a margarita in hand — and now you can sip in style without leaving KC. The much-anticipated Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City is nearly ready to toast its grand opening, welcoming guests next month inside Vacation Village, just east of the Legends Outlets.

Bookings are now live for late summer at this 228-room island-inspired escape, complete with indoor + outdoor pools, and signature eats like LandShark Bar & Grill. And yes, the deals are flowing:

License to Chill: Book a stay between August and March to snag 25% off your room, a $50 dining + drinks credit, and a VIP welcome gift for the first 100 guests.
KC Staycation: Locals get 15% off with a Kansas or Missouri ID at check-in.
Explore even more offers, including those for foodies + love birds needing late check outs.

The hotel also plans to have meeting, event + retail space, as well as be a family-friendly destination with plenty of activities + entertainment for all ages.
Margaritaville is only one of five districts soon to be found in Vacation Village, including the recently opened Homefield KC facility. There are also plans for:

Topgolf, a $20 million golf-themed food + entertainment spot
Atlas 9, an interactive art museum-movie theater combo
A 55,000-sqft multi-sport + live music arena

Official opening dates for the other four districts have yet to be announced.

The entire project is headed by Homefield KC. Co-Owner Greg Maday believes this is the development the city deserves.

“Over the years, as I drove by the defunct Schlitterbahn Waterpark on my way to Sporting KC matches, I found it upsetting that the symbol of a tragic time was still looming so large when the area around it seemed to be moving forward. The region deserved better,” Maday said.

And, soon, KCK shall have just that.
