The prospects weren't the only ones anxiously waiting for the NFL Draft — Kansas City was too. Here are some fast facts that will have you saying "really?" about the Draft in KC, thanks to NFL Senior Director of Events, Nicki Ewell.

1. The NFL Draft grounds cover 3.1 million sqft of land, from the South Lawn of the WWI Museum and Memorial all the way down to Union Station.

2. The three day event is expected to generate around $102 million in direct spending within the local economy.

3. The Draft Theater is the size of a football field. Fitting, right? It is 378 ft long 176 ft wide.

4. There are 1,488 LED lights inside the Draft Theater and 400,000 watts of sound amplification. In case you didn't realize, that is both bright and loud AF.

5. The Chiefs Kingdom Experience is the largest home team fan activation the NFL Draft has ever seen.
