Today we remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The civil rights leader continues to have a presence in Boston. There are now two permanent tributes to Dr. King in the city: "The Embrace" monument at Boston Common and the "Free at Last" sculpture at his alma mater, Boston University, where King earned his doctorate in systematic theology in 1955.

Bonus: Don't miss the "Roxbury Love Story" mural by local artists Rob "ProBlak" Gibbs and GoFive, which celebrates the neighborhood where he met his wife Coretta Scott King.
