If you’ve put off decorating to find a Griswold-worthy fir, we’re here to help. We’ve rounded up seven spots to snag a tree that will leave your family members saying, “She’s a beaut, Clark.”

Cut your own

Barker's Christmas Tree Farm, | 1500 Deerhaven Ln.
While reservations are currently full for November, check back often for potential openings. If you score a spot, you can choose from White Pines, Canaan Firs, and Balled + Burlap Norway Spruces. Pro tip: Cash or check only.

Nieman's Christmas Tree Farm, | 5100 Sulphur Ln.
Fill your home with the scent of fresh pine from one of Kentucky's only grower of Frasier firs in the state. Trees on this family owned farm range from six to 12+ft and White Pine, White Fir, and Blue Spruce are also available. Cut your own with tools provided or simply select and let the friendly staff do the heavy lifting... literally. Pro tip: They often sell out shortly after Thanksgiving, so call (859) 552-3532 for an appointment.

Pre-cut + ready to get lit

Wilson Plant Co. | 2700 Palumbo Dr.
With two locations — one in Frankfort + one in Lexington — you can get that fresh fir scent all season long. The Lexington location has a Fraser fir available in multiple sizes.

The greenhouse turns into a winter wonderland with freshly cut Christmas tree varieties including Fraser, Grand, and Concolor firs. Wow your guests with other live festive greenery + decor like wreaths, centerpieces, and garland. Don't forget to bring the kiddos to see trainset + enjoy hot chocolate and cider.
