SUBJECT LINE >>> [TRUCK EMOJI] Moving trends to [CITY] + TKTK

ENGAGEMENT MODULE >>> CEs, create an EM in your MKT's account to run with your story — this could be a fun, easy Answered down the road. Lead with these questions:
What do you like most about living in [City]?
How long have you lived in [City]?
Why did you move to [City]?

Welcome home, fellow San Diegans.

U-Haul — the moving truck company that started in Ridgefield, WA — has released its 2024 mid-year report on migration trends, tracking the origins of U-Haul trucks arriving in the 25 most populated cities in the US, including San Diego. Let’s take a look at who’s moved into our city from where — and if you’re new around here, we’ve got even more to share.

The moving trends

So, where are folks coming from? According to U-Haul, here are the top three metropolitan areas outside our state that people are moving to SD from:

Phoenix, AZ
Las Vegas, NV
Denver, CO

Welcome to California, friends. But that's not all — our fellow Californians are also moving around quite a bit. Here are the top three cities within the Golden State that U-Haul customers are arriving to the San Diego from:

Los Angeles
Bay Area (San Jose/San Francisco/Oakland — oh hey, SJtoday)
Palm Springs

CEs, if you're using this as a SS instead of a lead, this is a good cut-off point for the NL. Add a CTA here, with something like "Resources for newcomers"
