Drink Up Month is going strong, and you said you want to hear about local smoothie and juice shops. Ask and you shall receive — we’ve squeezed in this mini list:

Rad Habits Juice Co., South Park
Run by a cool mom named Jenna, this biz offers super smoothies with rad names like A Tribe Called Zest with carrot, orange, and mango, and Ice Ice Berry for kids — strawberry, banana, spinach, and homemade almond milk. Don’t miss the cold-pressed juices, too.

LIV Juice Bar and Smoothies, Hillcrest
The raw juices are on point — the No. 1 selling Flu Fighter contains orange, pineapple, garlic, ginger, lemon, and cayenne. For fruit smoothies, try the Green Liv with cactus, watermelon, apple, cucumber, kale, spinach, and pineapple.

San Diego Blenders, Mission Valley + College Area
The menu is like stepping into a rainbow — packed with yellow, green, white, red, and purple ingredients to fuel your body and support health. Try premium creations like the Antioxidant Smoothie or Pitaya Plus.

Did we miss your favorite spot? We’re always adding to our stories, so drop us a note (and a drink recommendation).

PS: We hear Juice It Up! is expanding into San Diego County in late 2023, opening its first local shop in San Marcos. Others are planned for Chula Vista, National City, Escondido, and Vista.
