Got the pre-game jitters yet? UW takes on Michigan in college football's national championship Monday, Jan. 8 at 4:30 p.m. — and the city is amped up.

Sure, you can watch the game at home on ESPN as you squeeze a stress ball. But major Seattle sports moments like this don’t come around often — so it’ll be a lot more fun to join locals howling for the Dawgs.

Grab your purple gear, brush up on the talking points, and check out one of these watch parties.

Good Brewing Barrel House, 18204 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell | The $15 cover to check out the game at this UW alum hangout includes two drink tickets, apps, and opportunities to win prizes with each Huskies touchdown.

Seattle Center Armory, 305 Harrison St. | Grab a drink at a pop-up beer garden and wave those foam fingers proudly.

Ladd & Lass, 722 NE 45th St. | Enjoy happy hour prices all day at the cozy brewery located not too far from campus.

Redhook Brewlab, 714 E. Pike St. | $25-$30 | UW is throwing its official watch party at the spacious Capitol Hill brewery with a buffet from Kobo Pizza, a DJ spinning tunes, and lots of merch. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Chuck’s Hop Shop Central District, 2001 E. Union St. | Pair beers with a build-your-own-taco station.

Big Mario’s Northlake Pizza, 660 NE Northlake Way | One of the U District’s most venerable joints is a pizzeria now — and there will be giveaways to go along with slices.
