Have a kiddo obsessed with planes, trains, or things that go vroom?

Fuel their curiosity at “From Here to There,” an interactive summer exhibition at the Children’s Museum of Richmond that explores how we travel by land, sea, and air.

Open now through Sept. 7, this 1,500-sqft exhibition is packed with hands-on fun. Kids can ride a hovercraft to learn about air pressure, launch a hot air balloon, operate a real canal lock to move boats between water levels, and more.

Plus, explore themed zones like:

Simple Machines | Use simple machines like scoops, ramps, and wheels to move objects in a ball pit.
Air Transport | Send colorful balls flying through 100 feet of tubing.
How Do Boats Sail Into the Wind? | Learn how sail positions, rudders, and wind direction work together.
Right Engine for the Job | Explore how engines power everything from planes to lawnmowers.
