In anticipation for the 47th running of the Richmond Marathon, Sports Backers has shared a full agenda of race weekend events. In addition to the expo — and, of course, the race itself — there'll be plenty to enjoy the weekend of Nov. 15-17.

Podcast lovers will have a few events to look forward to at the expo on Friday, Nov. 15. Lindsey Hein of the "I’ll Have Another" podcast will host a panel featuring notable Richmond runners Kleigh Koupal, Josh Leidy, Anthony Clary, and Sue Henneberry at 12:30.

The "Many Happy Miles" podcast, hosted by Dimity McDowell and Sarah Wassner Flynn, will record a live episode with two coaches of the Better Together Program at 2:30 p.m.

There will also be several group shakeouts ahead of the race. Both Marathon Training Academy and the Better Together Program have announced plans for 3-mile group runs on Friday, Nov. 15.

Ready for the race? Registration is still open for the marathon, half marathon, and 8K.
