Hey y’all, the full SATXtoday team here. Between the three of us, we get the privilege of sharing local news, events, and conversations with 60,000+ readers both in the newsletter and on social media.

After three years of bringing you SATXtoday, we thought we should formally re-introduce ourselves with a little Q+A.

Consider this us going in for a fist bump, switching to a handshake, and then settling on a hug.

Meet City Editor Nicholas

You’re ordering a drink from a San Antonio coffee shop: What’s in it?
Recently I've been enjoying The Optimistic Latte from Poetic Republic Coffee which has espresso, milk, lavender, and honey.

What are your tips for parking downtown on a weekend night?
I really enjoy using the VIA Park and Ride system (especially when I need to get to the airport).

Meet City Editor Adriana

What makes you the local expert in San Antonio?
I’m a native San Antonian. Even after moving away for a few years for college and taking jobs around the country, I eventually came back to settle down in the 210.

If you could only write about one topic for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Museums. I worked in that industry for a decade before coming to SATXtoday. I love how exhibits are curated and how objects in collections are stored + managed. I highly recommend checking out our local museums.

Meet Sales Executive Milo

If we went to happy hour, what would you order?
A beer, but on a celebratory occasion I will take a cocktail with whiskey. We have plenty of happy hour spots in our guide.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
Tank's Pizza — the Spicy Lemon Pepper and Lemon Pepper wings are amazing.
