Funkytown is ready to give the Live Music Capital of the World a run for its money. Artists from across the Lone Star State are coming to the Stockyards to showcase their talents at the Fort Worth Music Festival & Conference.

The event — produced by Live Nation, in partnership with chef Tim Love and Larry Joe Taylor — will run Friday, Feb. 28-Sunday, March 2.

Artists meeting other artists 🎶

The conference will serve as a showcase for up-and-coming Texas artists and an opportunity for aspiring agents, managers, and promoters to network. It sounds very similar to SXSW — in fact, the Stockyards festival will be somewhat of a prelude to the Austin event, which begins just a week later.

The third annual FWMF event will take place across four Stockyards venues — Tannahill's Music Hall, Tannahill's Lounge, Love Shack, and the White Elephant Saloon — and will include three days of panels, workshops, and performances.

Let’s get jammin’ 🎸

So far, there are 30+ artists scheduled to perform — including the Squeezebox Bandits, Mike Ryan, and William Clark Green. The Stockyards will serve as the perfect backdrop with its rich history, Western flare, and shops within walking distance of each other.

Multiple ticket options are available, from single-day admission to VIP passes.
