Looking for a new weeknight hangout? We've got you covered with this FTW hidden gem. Hotel Dryce is a great place to stop in for a drink whether you're staying at the hotel or not.

The boutique Byers Avenue hotel was formerly the old dry ice factory. Now, it features the chic, cozy Bar Dryce outfitted with Western touches, striking photos by local artist Guillermo D. Tapia + a sunny patio.

We'd recommend ordering a Dryce Tea, a Coco Gordo, or tasting one of the dry cocktails like The Remix or Cardamom Fizz.

The bar has weekly themed events like vinyl night on Mondays, yoga on Wednesdays + wine and cheese specials on Thursdays — plus a full calendar of special events like:

After Party for the FWADA Fall Gallery Night | Saturday, Sept. 9, 9 p.m.
Texas Sunday brunch | Sunday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Hotel Dryce 2nd Birthday | Saturday, Sept. 16, 9 p.m.

*Hesitant to read in public?* Silent Book Club is a "shame-free way to show up for yourself," says bartender Victor Van Scoit. | Photo by FTWtoday

Stop in on Tuesday evenings around 5-9 p.m. (ish) for Silent Book Club. No need to keep up with a schedule or specific pages, this come-as-you-are club lets you read whatever you want and chat with other book lovers — only if you're feeling social, of course.

When we visited earlier this week, readers told us the club "felt very Fort Worth" with its Cowtown vibe, despite being a local chapter of a global community.

If you haven't yet, scroll through the Instagram page to find your next read — it's basically a Fort Worth Goodreads.

Bonus: Check in with the bartender and host Victor Van Scoit to stamp your personal library card. Ten stamps get you a free burger from Gusto's, which is now located at Tulips in the Near Southside.
