The National Baseball Hall of Fame has a new inductee, former Texas Rangers third baseman Adrián Beltré.

In a historic vote, Beltré received 366 votes from the 385 ballots submitted — the same percentage of votes received by Babe Ruth — and was officially elected to the Hall of Fame.

This prestigious award is just one of many. The MLB legend, known for his signature kneeling home run and more than 3,000 hits, was also a four-time MLB All-Star + five-time winner of the Gold Glove Award.

Beltré is the 12th Hall of Famer to have played for the Rangers. The Dominican player follows pitcher Nolan Ryan (inducted 1999) and catcher Iván "Pudge" Rodríguez (inducted 2017).

The official induction ceremony will take place in Cooperstown, New York on Sunday, July 21.
