Sightseeing

You can also take your visitors to Inspiration Alley (over on Carroll St.) for the perfect family photo. If you’ve got any history buffs in the group, head to the JFK Tribute to learn more about his final public speeches.

Food + Drink

If your guests need coffee to get going in the morning, but you’re not exactly a barista — Vaquero Coffee Co., Summer Moon Coffee + Arcadia Coffee are all offering a range of caffeinated favorites.

Did you know Fort Worth is home to 15+ breweries? Fort Brewery + Pizza, Cowtown Brewing Company, Funky Picnic Brewery & Café, and Second Rodeo Brewing are some of our (City Editors Kerrah + Becca here) local favorites + they also serve lunch and dinner.

Need plans after sunset? See the city from a rooftop bar: Lot 12, Free Play Fort Worth, and Craft & Vine are all good bets.

As for food — some of our favorites include Goldee’s Barbecue, Local Foods Kitchen, Masero, and brunch at Our Brunch Spot.

We also love Pacific Table, Fixture, Taste Community Restaurant + Provender Hall and recommend satisfying your sweet tooth at Melt Ice Creams — order a cup of fan favorite Salt Lick.

For the whole family

Let the kids — or grandkids — run around + explore the Fort Worth Children’s Museum or plan your escape with the whole family at the Red Door Escape Room.

Looking for a seated adventure? See a kid friendly show at the Dickies Arena — Disney On Ice presents Let’s Celebrate is playing from Nov. 24-28.

If you want to tackle classic family fun, load up the car and spend the afternoon exploring the Fort Worth Zoo or take the family bowling at Cowtown Bowling Center.

Outdoor activities

If your visitors are ready for some outdoor fun, we have a variety of parks to explore. Grab some Trailer Park tacos from Torchy’s Tacos + head to Trinity Trails for a picnic. The 100+ miles of walking trails (through 31 neighborhoods and 21 parks) are the perfect way to get some fresh air while taking in all of the beauty our city has to offer.

Indoor activities

If you prefer to stay inside this time of year, spend a day exploring the various museums across Fort Worth like the Kimbell Art Museum.

If you’ve got any sports fans in the group, here is the Dallas Cowboys home game schedule, including the Thanksgiving Day game.

We’re not done yet. You can also send your visitors our November events calendar in advance of their trip.
