Rooftop Cinema Club is bringing entertainment to new heights in downtown Fort Worth. The outdoor terrace of The Worthington Renaissance (200 Main St.) will become a permanent location for the open-air cinema on Tues., Nov. 1.

According to a press release, Rooftop Cinema Club Downtown Fort Worth will repurpose The Worthington’s former sports court on a portion of its outdoor mezzanine deck, known as The Terrace. The area will feature a breathtaking 360-degree view of downtown, state-of-the-art LED screens, lawn games + signature food and drinks.

Movie screenings 🎬

Tickets are now on sale for all screenings through December 30, with future screening dates to be announced soon. The first week of screenings includes "The Notebook," “Grease,” Coco,” “Urban Cowboy,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “The Princess Bride.”

Moviegoers should arrive early to pick out a deck chair, as seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Wireless headphones will be provided to watch the movie.

Gourmet eats 🍽️

Guests can expect the best of the best when it comes to movie theater snacks. Rooftop Cinema Club combined its efforts with The Worthington Renaissance and Toro Toro chef Richard Sandoval to create an elevated concession-style menu.

Offerings include signature food and beverages like the Soft Salted Pretzel, Hot Diggity Dog, Pulled Pork Tacos, and Nacho Libre. Alcoholic beverages like a classic Margarita, TX Old Fashioned + wine and beer options will be available.

Other casual snacking will be offered for guests including fresh popcorn, soft drinks, and candy

Save on parking 🚗

Complimentary valet is available if you dine at Toro Toro — located inside The Worthington Renaissance — before or after the show.

Self-parking is also available inside the hotel garage (based on availability) for just $10. In order to receive the special parking price, guests must bring their parking ticket to the box office. As always, street parking is also available around the hotel.

Gerry Cottle, the founder of Rooftop Cinema Club, said The Worthington Renaissance was the ideal rooftop where locals and guests could enjoy the downtown cinematic experience. He also said, “We are so proud to be part of this city that marks the entrance to the modern West, home to many film stars and one that has inspired countless stories depicted in film.”
