A 6-story tall rubber duck is coming to Fort Worth. Its mission? To promote kindness.

The Kindness Duck Project is a nonprofit that aims to help people plant show compassion. Its goals are to help with community needs, promote and uplift organizations + provide people of all ages opportunities to receive and give kindness.

Background

The idea was started by Mark Burrow, a children's ministries director. He began a series of Kindness Conversations last spring with the First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth. Mark gave the children small rubber ducks to encourage them to do nice things for others. The idea was so well-received, he created the Kindness Duck Project to motivate other children and the wider community.
