Become a foster hero

If long-term adoption is not an option, consider short-term fostering. Fostering is a wonderful way to provide animals time away from the shelter environment. It allows people to about a pet’s personality and helps find pets the perfect long-term home.

Here's how it works:

Fill out the foster form.
Within 72 hours, you will receive a welcome email with the foster manual and information about setting up an appointment.
The city will provide all vaccinations, spay/neuter services, microchips, and in-shelter vet care.
Food, treats, and other basic supplies (beds, crates, leash, etc.) will be supplied to you, depending on availability (these are donation-based).
You will provide the basics: your home, exercise, space, socialization, and love.
