Poolside work is fine and coffee shops are great. However, there’s something about co-working spaces (especially the ones in Dallas) that offer a unique mixture of fun and flexibility. Who doesn’t like working with nice cup of coffee followed by an afternoon beer?

Here are a few co-working spaces we have our eye on in the Big D:

Hatchways Workspace

With a location in the heart of Victory Park — conveniently down the street from the W Hotel and Insomnia Cookies — Hatchways offers a wide range of amenities:

Open space seating
Conference rooms with writing walls
Pod spaces
Chef-driven breakfast, lunch, and snack options
Full City Rooster Coffee with experienced baristas

Membership cost starts at $25 for a day pass and $100 per month for six days of use.

Industrious HQ

A rising star in co-working, Industrious HQ is doing a Texas two-step over Dallas with an Arts District location northeast of downtown and a southeast location in Dallas Farmers Market. For residents further outside of Dallas, there's also another location in Plano.

The space offers the following:

24/7 access
Meeting rooms
Bookable offices on-demand
Private, fully-furnished office suites
Daily breakfast and craft coffee

Prices can vary from $50 per hour for meeting rooms to $299 per month.

Common Desk

This co-working space has locations in Bishop Arts, downtown, and North Dallas. Common Desk has been around since 2012, so it isn’t new to the co-working world. Being a WeWork company, the co-working space is growing as it provides options in artsy areas like the West End.

The space prides itself on offering:

Fast wifi
Co-working community events
Plenty of coffee
Conference room access

Student discounts start at $75 per month and daily access to the open space and amenities is $150 per month.
