New year, new you. We asked our readers to share their New Year's resolutions and y'all did not disappoint.

Whether big or small, here are some changes that anyone can make in 2024.

Reader Sara E. wants to "try the Tom Kha at one new Austin Thai restaurant per month," a delicious goal if we do say so ourselves. We suggest starting at one of these eight restaurants recommended by readers.

Reader Vicki F. plans to use her quilting skills for good by making "baby quilts for a charity." Want to give back in 2024? Here are 32 ways to do so locally.

This year is all about sports for reader Debbie, who wants to "play more golf and pickleball." We'd suggest a round at one of these spots.

At the age of 77, reader Louise B. said she wants to make mistakes in 2024, because that "means I am trying new things, learning new things, taking risks and living." We love the enthusiasm — try one of these local tours to learn something new.

Readers Jacy S. and Elizabeth B. have a shared goal of connecting with themselves and their families in the new year. Elizabeth said, "I want a deeper connection to myself, my environment, my children and I want to find connection in my professional and personal life." Yoga is a great way to connect to yourself, so try one of these 18 yoga studios in the Capital City.

We can all learn a little something from reader Beth, whose resolution is to "be present for others." Be like Beth.

This year, City Editor Figi plans to finally take the dance class she's been eyeing at Ballet Austin. Meanwhile, City Editor London wants to spend more time outside this year, exploring local trails, parks, and swimming holes.

Cheers to the New Year — you can share your resolution here.
