There are just 19 days left until Halloween, are you scared yet?

Before the witching hour hits, don't forget to secure a costume (maybe one of these fa-boo-lus Austin-themed looks) and gear up for one of these events.

Where to get a costume

Aside from Spirit Halloween and Party City, get costumes at these local shops:

Coco Coquette, 2109 E. Cesar Chavez St.
While this might not be a costume shop, this accessory store vends fantasy rainbow wigs + jewelry.

A Cut Above Costumes, 150 Texas Ave., Ste. #105, Round Rock
From capes and corsets to murder mystery attire, consultants at this shop can help you find costumes to rent.

Secret Oktober, 5318 Menchaca Rd.
This shop offers new, used, and handmade items. You’re sure to find goth and post-punk attire here.

Violet Crown Costume Company, 704 State Hwy. 71, C100, Bastrop
Rent vintage and contemporary costumes, equipment, and uniforms for men and women.

Where to celebrate

Try some creepy treats like cotton candy with candy worms, and ice cream sundaes with toppings like meringue ghosts, gummy bugs, and licorice bats. | Photo courtesy Museum of Ice Cream
