Get in Austinites, we're going picnicking.

Grab your picnic blanket, sunglasses, and a few loved ones for the return of Waterloo Greenway's No. 11 annual Pop-Up Picnic fundraiser from 6-10 p.m. this Saturday, April 1.

By selling curated baskets from local restaurants — ranging in price from $25-$350 — the Pop-Up Picnic directly benefits the Waterloo Greenway Conservancy and helps support free public programming at Waterloo Greenway throughout the year.

But wait, there's more. The Pop-Up Picnic is free to any and all who want to join, including leashed pups, no RSVP required. Just remember not to bring any glass or alcohol in your basket — a limited number of baskets will be sold at the picnic if you change your mind.
