This news isn't just for the guests you have coming into town. Last week, Hilton celebrated the topping out of its dual-branded Canopy and Homewood Suites hotels in the Gulch at 910 Division St. — formerly the site of Yazoo Brewing Company. While you won't be ringing the bell until July 2024, grab your hard hat and take a virtual tour.

The 152-room hotel will feature a fitness center with Peloton bikes and a yoga lawn, a Tesla house car, and an indoor rooftop wine and tapas bar.

Out of 181 rooms, Canopy will boast 25 suites with a two-story presidential suite offering a 600-sqft private terrace overlooking the skyline.

For the locals
Expect an expansion of some local favorites, including a Five Points Pizza window, Yazoo Taproom at Common Place, and 8th & Roast Coffee Bar. You'll also want to add Afterglow, Canopy's 8,500-sqft rooftop agave-focused bar, to your rotation for Friday drinks after work.
